RM of Lake Lenore’s story
The Rural Municipality of Lake Lenore No. 399 incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913. It lies in central Saskatchewan, and its municipal office is in the village of St. Brieux, which sits within the RM.
Besides St. Brieux, the RM includes the unincorporated localities of Daylesford and St. James. Today it is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of each month.
Visitors are drawn to Lenore Lake, St. Brieux Regional Park and the St. Brieux Museum. Saskatchewan highways 368, 773 and 777 cross the municipality, and the Canadian National Railway runs through it.
